Al-Anon

A fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics who share in their experience, strength, and hope in order to solve their common problems. Al-Anon meets every second Thursday of the month at 7:00pm, rain or shine.

Altar Servers

Any youth who have made their First Communion and are interested in helping with Mass are encouraged to join. We make every effort to have siblings serve together at the Mass their family normally attends.

Bereavement Ministry

Our Bereavement Committee shows Parish support to the grieving family by helping them plan the funeral liturgy. They also provide the option of a “Meal of Mercy”,  which is served in the Parish hall  following the funeral, to celebrate the life of the deceased.

Bible Study

A Catholic Scriptural Study of the Bible is a program which consists of a one hour DVD presentation and a group discussion centered around questions from a workbook. During each session you’ll receive handout sheets to further explain the lesson. New classes are forming soon.

Caritas

We are a group of young at heart people who meet once a month for lunch and take two to four bus trips a year. Those who are interested also meet weekly for bowling or golf, depending on the season. Starting on May 1, if you would like to meet us for golf, we will be at the PRO-AM Golf Course in Newfane NY at 9:00am.

Cleaning Team

The cleaning team is a group of men and women who volunteer to beautify and decorate the church in preparation for Holy Mass and holidays.  We can always use more help.

Eucharistic Adoration

Every Friday the Blessed Sacrament is Exposed in the Monstrance on the Altar in the Chapel. For the hours that it is Exposed, members of this ministry maintain a constant presence in silent Adoration before the Lord.

Extraordinary Ministers

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are members of the congregation that have been recommended  by the Pastor, received Diocesan training, and given approval from the Bishop to assist in the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ. This Ministry is done both at Mass in the Parish and privately to those unable to attend Mass.

Faith Formation

We offer a grade specific program intended to encourage growth in both faith and knowledge in our youth. Using the text series Blest are We, our students receive thematic based instruction specific to each grade year. As their time progresses in their studies, each student will come to know more about the tenants of the faith and the person of Jesus Christ.

Garden Club

We welcome all volunteers for planting and care of flowers around our church property. We work as a group, or at your convenience. There are no age restrictions. Come “grow” with us.

Giving Tree

During the Christmas season, the Giving Tree provides an opportunity for parishioners to donate presents for families in need. Members of the Giving Tree Ministry help organize and distribute gifts in an effort to bring the joy of Christ’s birth into the homes of others.

I.C. Impact

We are a group of 9th through 12th graders who gather on Thursdays  from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. for fun and fellowship. We pray for those in need as well as each other. We discover new ways to enhance our faith. We learn to understand the importance of God’s friendship. We learn respect, responsibility, trust, how to touch others with our faith, and to develop a deeper relationship with God.

Knitters

We meet every Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Parishioners of all ages who are interested are invited.

Martha’s Movers

Martha’s Movers is a Ministry whose motto is: Body, Mind, and Spirit. It is an exercise group of Christian women where conversation and exercise is encouraged. We are open M-F 10 a.m. until noon. We are also open on Tues, Weds, Thurs. afternoon from 3:15-5:00 p.m.. Come join us for fitness and fellowship!

R.C.I.A.

Right of Christian Initiation of Adults and older children, is a program that gradually introduces its members to the Roman Catholic faith and way of life.

Respect Life

Our mission is to make our fellow parishioners more aware of pro-life issues and needs, and to recruit volunteers to help meet those needs. If you have a Christian concern for the many pro-life issues that are being challenged by our culture today, and would like to help, please join us.

Rosary Altar Society

The Society assists in various ways in the Parish. Their prime purpose is to beautify and prepare the Altar of the Lord for Eucharistic celebration. They honor the Blessed Mother through devotion and praying the Rosary.
